We're hiring! Morning Kitchen Whizz Wanted
Please tag or share! Committed Part-Timer for the Summer season in our busy kitchen. Role will involve helping make traybakes prepping and general kitchen chores. Hours 9.30am to lunchtime 5/6 days per week.
Solid cooking experience and some baking experience would be ideal. We maintain the highest standards; Kitchen Hygiene Certification an advantage. Immediate start to late September.
Kindly note, our Bridport shop will be temporarily closed from Monday 27th February for a week while our kitchen undergoes refurbishment, however we will still be baking! As well as our usual markets throughout the week we will also have a stall outside the shop on both Wednesday 1st March and Saturday 4th March when we will also have a stall outside Bridport Post Office. In the meantime, place your orders for collection at any of the markets next week on 01308 423296. For those of you who live further afield or can't make it to a market, you can always shop online!

It's the first time we've taken part in these awards which welcomes entrants from across the globe and a wide range of categories from Baguettes to Flatbreads which attest to it's truly international flavour.
The competition, which includes categories for both professional and amateur bakers, takes place in September each year and invites entries from both budding young bakers to seasoned kitchen creators.
The Sourdough win follows a Great Taste win for the same loaf earlier in the year. Rye appears to be having a moment!
Our Sourdough Pure Rye scooped a Gold Star in this year's Great Taste Awards. This tasty dense loaf is made with 100% organic rye flour from Stoates Cann Mill and has been a popular favourite for many years at Leakers and we're thrilled to have it recognised by the wonderful judges at Great Taste.
We were excited to see some local tech talent featured in Wired Magazine recently. West Dorset IT developers are set to launch a revolutionary new "Toast" app.
Harnessing the sophisticated brightness and calibration tools found on modern smartphones, the app will allow busy people in the move to toast bread using their handheld device.
A spokeswoman for Rhubarb Technology said; "As the nations favourite food, Toast is an important part of everyones day, and we're excited to be offering the chance for people to enjoy toast everywhere; in their cars or at picnics on the beach".
A Leakers Bakery spokesman said, "the possibilities for this new idea are endless. People will be making their own toasties on the move soon, which is a great step forward for us all".
